    That's a lot of geese!

I always find this time of year most productive. I take on the big challenges. Yesterday's goal was to complete 334 flying geese. It was a long day - but I did it! I still have 49 square in a square units to do, and 36 log cabin blocks.... This one should keep me busy for awhile.

Wow, that is indeed a lot of geese. Today was a cloudy, raining day, would have been a good day for cutting and making blocks for upcoming quilts. Thanks for the idea. It is suppose to be cloudy and raining all week, so I could get a lot done.

I will post the finished project - I promise. It is for my sister's 50th birthday and I am really excited about it. As you can probably tell from my 1st picture of the fabrics chosen, I have a very scrappy approach to most everything that I do. Currently cutting fabric for the 36 Log Cabin blocks - which means there are 73 fabrics on the table. I just get a little at a time ( love remnants, fat quarters, and scraps from y'all) but I have a palette that can't be beat! If you use just a little at a time - you never run out.

I think quilters would make great assembly line workers. Don't you... When you have that many pieces to put together, it seems like an assembly line of sorts.
