    gorgeous block and for the lump of seams take a small towel and lay over it then use a hammer on the lump I have had to do that before

    Its a beautiful block! On the seams.. I press open on a block like this .. it gets too confusing which way to press .. to get every seam going in a direction that does not intersect with another going the same way.

    Are you pressing the seams open? I think this is one of those blocks that need the seams open!!!!!

    This is one of those..Duh!.. moments never thought pf pressing the seams open, on the other hand, I heard that the quilt police come in the night and confiscate your stash for breaking the quilting laws, but I am willing to risk it. I'll give open seams a try, I have never done it do they match differently?

    Beautiful block, looks like you have done a great job. Here is a link that explains how to do a seam, so that it lays flatter. They make the seams pinwheel, I have tried this and it really does help.

    Press your seams open. I press all my seams open now. Eliminates trying to foresee which way they should go.
