    That hammer trick works well, I always hitit with some steam before I wack it! Beautiful block.

    Your block is really beautiful. I would press the seams open and then press them with Niagra spray starch. I'm working on a quilt now that has multiple seams coming together and this method seems to be working for me.

    Your block is beautiful. Have hubby make you about a 3 inch square of 1/2 inch plywood. place it over the seam joints and whack it with a hammer. Sounds crazy, but it eliminates the bulk.

    I agree with the others...great block and press the seams open using lots of starch.
