Will try to answer some of your questions. I will go back to page 1 and try to do them in order.
I made this in a class and the instructor did not put a name to it and we did not get an instruction sheet. She just walked us through it, and I believe it called “Spinning Star”
Gunny 148---- As for my Avatar, it is a painting that our high school students did on a large wall on main st. to honor our Grandson who was killed in Afghanistan a year ago this last Jan. I’ve used it because it makes me feel good, but am thinking it’s time to change it.
Awesumpunk– this is not easy, worse than a puzzle!!
mrsddh97—mine measures about 33 inches from point to point, but I think it has a lot to do with the width of the strips and how many of them you use as to how big it turns out. As for a placemat, probably if you made things smaller.
This is as close as I can come to a pattern for you, but I don’t think I could have figured this one out even with a pattern, but then my brain needs a lot of help at times!! Another lady I’ve been talking to does have the pattern and says it is 12 pages long. I hope this takes you to the web site.

Thank you all for you kind remarks and I so wish I could explain this to you, but it is just to complicated for me to put into words. Thanks for looking.
Woops--guess you will need to select the language you need in order to read it, then scroll down just a bit.

Please give me the name of this pattern. I love table toppers and especially ones for each season and holiday.
Sorry, I just read your explanation, so there may not be a name at this time. Please post if you find.
