So I wanted to get my co-workers thoughts on a new group of fabrics... and when I showed them these pictures, all four said "eeeww"! I really kind of liked them (well, maybe not all the grey ones)... but maybe I've just lost my sense of "taste"?

The group is called "Putting on the Ritz". Some of these would be good for nursery decor, but most of them are not just "baby".

Help!! What do you think? Do you find any appeal in these? For baby, or otherwise?

And a few more. The first three look sort of like they're dots on top of nylon netting. (They're not, of course, they're a cotton print.)

I like them. I probably wouldn't use them as a group in a quilt but I can see them as fillers and backgrounds in conjunction with other fabrics.

    How about three little Fleur-de-Lys?

That's it, I've posted them all.

As a whole they are OK, not special IMO. However as Rose L said they would good fillers and backgrounds.

I'm sure, though, that there's an audience for the these as well.

Actually I like them all! I would use these for a baby blanket or otherwise.
The pink/grey combination is becoming very popular. ( I seem to remember that combo was also popular in the 80's??)
    I think they are cute!

Some designer missed the boat with those fabrics. I don't find that much imagnation in it.

I think they are way cool but I probably would not buy them. They don't really speak to me but I would probably drool over something someone else made with them.

From the Damask down I really like them. The first ones would do great as background and fillers, as said before.
