Oh, ok. So, six suitcases is a bit much ya think? Guess I'll go unpack the one that has the clothes in it then. *snicker* She DID say she's close to the beach. I can fit my bathing suit in with the fabric. S'cool. 8)

Don't forget to bring fabric here!
I also have another sewing machine.
If anyone is handy at cleaning/oiling machines...I have my moms Singer Touch and Sew too. I haven't touched that in about 20 years.

I wish when I went looking through my stuff I would find gorgeous stuff like that instead of that buttugly hand print I found!!! :D

Oh, I have some of what I consider buttugly too!
In fact....I think I sent a piece to someone here. It's got these funky japanese koi fish on them, sort of cartoonist. To me, it's ugly...but others think it's nice

Indeed, beauty is in the eye.... I love, love, love batiks. I have a lot of them. I adore them. On the other hand, I have a friend who equates batiks to "moldy stew." I think she remembers batiks from years and years ago, when they did look like that!
