Thomas the train I SPY for a two yaar old.

The original I SPY five inch template started before all the eye sight problems last April, but I was determined to finish it for Christmas. It is suppose to arrive today for him. Enjoy.Name: 1-DSCN0045.JPG

My vision is what it is. Cataracts removed from right and left eyes, done by a wonderful surgeon, then right eye optic nerve swelled up. Retina specialist treated it successfully, then the nose piece of the glasses on the left side caused a skin cancer, and I am working with surgeons to get it all removed. Left eye optic nerve swelled up and blew out in 1999, leaving very little vision. I don't drive anymore. Just thankful I can still sew and quilt. Count your blessings everyday that you can see, and see well. Enjoy your family and friends this wonderful Christmas Day near and far.

A wonderful quilt. And you're right - either side can be considered the "right" side.

Great idea for a reversible quilt.....so very, very cute. Even with your eye problems, you did GREAT!!!! I love the way you did the "I Spy" part.....those stars really set it off nicely.......how did you determine how many squares to cut light and dark? Obviously, you bought special fabric for these blocks.....so darn cute!!!

Cute quilt. My son would have loved that when he was 2. He has always loved anything with wheels - cars and Thomas the Tank.

I can see hours of fun on either side of that quilt. Well done.
