Was this a pattern from Aunt Martha's? I have one of hers (two actually) and it looks identical. Never thought of beading it...and after one thought...not happening! Yours is stunning!!!!

I believe it was Aunt Martha's.
I had always wanted to incorporate beads
with the embroidery I'd grown up with
and this was the result.

Wow...I'm wanting to use the pattern to do some thread painting with metallics...hope it comes out 1/10th of what your embroidery did..I'd be happy!
