I was thinking leave it longer, so it can be used as the child gets bigger, which it will do very soon. Until then, the excess can be folded up at the bottom of the bed. Just my thought, since it is already on there.

I think it looks like a great sized quilt for baby to roll around on on the floor. Sometimes the smaller quilts are not big enough and baby has rolled off the quilt onto the floor. It is your choice, but I would leave it as it is. Pretty quilt though.

Glad your keeping the extra length. I like it and so, i'm sure, will the parents.

Leave it the way it is.. The baby will grow into it. The baby can use it longer this way. Nice quilt by the way.

Very cute quilt ... the baby won't stay tiny for too long, so it seems like the length would be perfect!

I would leave it this size. It will grow with the child. We call a lap quilt a reading quilt. The gkids love to get their quilt and a book and read to me.

If you leave it as it is, the child can use it longer.

What size is it right now? If you take off a row, approx what size would it be. It is really hard to judge the size by the picture. ;)
I wouldn't shorten it. I think it's really cute & they'll love the length as they get older.

As fast as babies grow, I would leave it alone. Just think how much more use it will get as the years go by!

I think the length looks just fine. I made a baby quilt several years ago that ended up a lot bigger than I thought it would, but I gave it anyway. I never heard a complaint! :-D
