What a fabulous quilt! Your post has given me more ideas about what I want to try in quilting, and I appreciate your encouragement. This quilt has certainly give me a new perspective on panels too!

I love your panel quilt!! I love panels for detailing and doing free motion on. I can get to the free motion quicker with panels! LOL!

Such beautiful work! While waiting for my batting order to arrive, I began thread painting on some sunflower placemats (panel of four mats). I had forgotten how much fun thread painting is! You have motivated me to try some "new to me" free motion as I tend to do what's comfortable for me for background FM.
