    Had fun making this pair, one for me and one for a friend. It made her happy!

    I used prairie points for the beak, combs, and tails.

    I love mine...a good friend made my hen pincushion and I put her tail under the leg of the machine....otherwise I have to chase a dog with it in her mouth...

    I like to put a small packet of sand inside the bottom of my pincushions to give them some stability. The rest is poly-fil. They are easy to make. I followed the tutorial found on the internet and this forum, I think. Most of them have the combs and tails made of felt, which is also cute. They are made from two squares of fabric. My chicks are large, made of 5 inch squares.
