Ok...now I am totally a nervous wreck trying to post pictures.....here goes again.....then I think I will chill out by working on baby quilt.....have to practice meandering on my machine.....been a while. Some of my chickens are similar to one another. I am making a lap quilt for my friend also, who is into chickens. Ok I will try again.

Butterflywing, I have no rhyme or reason to my blocks. I like the idea of quilt as you go, might do that. I would post more pics of some other blocks here, but as you can tell i do not know what i am doing with posting pics.....my sister (on this forum also) would get a laugh at me.....

sew and sew, the reason i ask is that if you don't know how many you'll do, you can just keep on until you stop. then that's the end. especially if you put a sashing piece between as you go. just a thought.

Thank you all........they are fun to do. I have so many pictures I have drawn or collected of chickens I do not know which one to do next. I do not live near any fabric stores anymore since walmart stopped having fabric, so i am limited. I now have to look into my scraps...you all have such beautiful chicken fabric, I get jealous. This has been a fun quilt to do. I will be making 2 lap quilts. As I think you all know.....I have a old log cabin we live in and I have "chicken decor" on the front porch.......along with my old wringer washing machine I decorate in plants......but I thought the lap quilt would be good for brisk mornings. We are in the process of adding on a side screened in porch.....can't wait.....well I will have to go quilt my baby quilt now.....and i am not very good at that........the shower is tuesday......Thanks again for all of your kind words........boy I never knew how much time it took to get your pics and post them..........
