Thanks all!!!! I am TOTALLY going to take the chairs out and use it for the mats!!!!! Love that idea!! Also will try to work with the Rowenta. This one was made in Germany so I thought it would be better than the ones n China. I dont know if that's true, but it made a difference to me. Lol. I've honestly never ironed without steam, but I'm willing to try!!! :-)

Great table! I'll have to stop in our thrift shops more often. Haven't seen anything really great so far.

What a great idea! I just found one at a yard sale last week...the lady wanted $50 for it but I was just admiring it thinking what a great cutting table it would be but she comes over and says, make me an offer. I explained that I was just admiring it and that all I would be able to offer was $10 and she said SOLD! Her husband even delivered it for me. Four nice cane seat chairs inside but they may go elsewhere now and I might store my mats and rulers in there!

I have one of these and would never get rid of it....best piece of furniture one could have....sooo versatile. love it.
