Excellent find! And thank you for rescuing it!

I rescue unwanted quilts, too. It's a shame to see so much hard work go into something and then someone just cast it aside.

I found this hand embroidered and hand quilted baby quilt at Goodwill for $3 and rescued it! Somebody's poor grandma was rolling over in her grave at the thought of her handiwork being treated so unkindly until I bought it and brought it home. It now resides alongside my own quilts...happy, safe and used and loved by my grandchildren.

Such a sad story, really. Hours and hours of one artist's work just discarded. Glad you saved it - and Loretta and others saved more of them ! Enjoy them ladies, and know that someone - somewhere - is appreciating your appreciation of their work.
