This Slant Singer found her way to my house as well... she is now getting a bubble bath and she had to soak! she had no moving parts when I brought her home last night... some wiring and she is now sewing like a PRO.... She came with the cabinet and now that is being cleaned up.. Meet Betty!

I own one of these machines. I learned to sew on it!
It was my Mom's & her name was "Betty".

that's interesting! My Aunt Betty had a slant singer and loved it and that is why I named here that!

I had one that I took to college (got it as a HS graduation gift) -- loved that baby.

My AnnieRose is my go to quilting machine for piecing and FMQ. 301s are very capable little machines.
