    Default "Timber!" baby quilt

This was gifted today at a Zoom baby shower, so now I can share the pics with you all. I made this for my nephew and his wife, expecting their first baby next month. It's a lot of applique, which isn't my favorite thing to do, but it was something a little bit different for me. I quilted it on my longarm, trying to make the birch trees look more ... birchier? Backing is flannel.

The pattern is called Timber! from Rachel Rossi.

That is adorable! And your birch trees look plenty "birchie".

What a darling quilt! I'll bet that is already their favorite gift - you did a beautiful job with it and it looks just perfect.

Darling quilt...what a fun project and your quilting is perfect for your quilt. I like what you did for the birch branches and the little hearts on the bear paws.great job!

That’s about as cute as it gets. Your quilting is perfect for making those birches birchier. Love it!

Oh, as all have said, this is a charming little quilt. Creative and plenty of baby "cuteness". I can see it with a raccoon, a tree frog, a possum, or other little tree climbing critters.
