Default Time Consuming Block of the Month

This is a block of the month I started with one of the quilt stores I go to, there are 12 blocks in the quilt which took about 2 hours each to make then there are setting blocks and 2 rows of sashing (lost track of time making those) and I still have the borders to make. The blocks were just time consuming the rest has been a real P.I.A. My sashing didn't match points perfect, ripped a few times to try to adjust, then I finally said oh well I am giving this to my sister who will never notice. I grew to hate this quilt, I feel quilte an accomplishment just finishing last row and sashing today and getting them attached. The name of this quilt is Tonga Rhapsody, Thanks for looking and listening to me vent.

Wow, that is very time consuming; but the result is remarkable. Bravo! Beautiful colors and interesting blocks.

Gorgeous quilt! Once it is out of sight for awhile you will appreciate its beauty and the payoff of such hard work!
