I found the notebook from the Mystery quilt class. The teacher printed the handouts. The teacher did not list a name for the pattern. If I can find the teacher that gave this class (2010) , I will ask her where the pattern can be found.
If I am successful in contacting the teacher of the class, I will post the pattern info. ASAP. Stay tuned.

Thank you for your kind words! Yes, that is flange binding you see. I found a link with a great tutorial and easy way of adding a flange to the binding. Here is the link to the tutorial on how I added the flange and the binding together in one step.:
