I decided to do a project early for a change, so I made this dress for my DGD for her birthday on 8/17. She lives across country so I can't send a photo of her wearing it. But I have attached a pic of her separately. You'll just have to pretend. Oh, and some of you might recognize the pink polka dot from my 1st baby quilt pic from yesterday. Yep, I use scraps whenever possible. The heart fabric was from a JoAnn's that was moving and where "everything" was 90% off. I must have paid $1 for it. The pattern is a Daisy Kingdom by Simplicity - also $1 at the sale where I stood in line for 2 hours. Got $300 worth of stuff for $30. It was worth it and I met some nice quilters while in line.

The dress is so cute, you did a great job. And your granddaughter is just adorable. I love her curls! Sounds like you definitely got an unbelievable deal at your Joann's...I would have stood in line for that deal, too!

The little dress is adorable. Of course, so is the little girl too. I have a question - what pattern did you use.
