I agree!

Also, someone mentioned the idea of a double sided quilt!!!! I love that idea!!

Beautiful blocks - I really love the plaid :)

I like the green, but seems it needs to be a softer green?
Really like the blocks in the colors you chose.

The neon blue seems to me to play nicely with blocks you have already made. When finished with this one go and make that happy vibrant summer colored one. K

Totally agree with you, those neon colors clash with the pastels.

Honestly, I think since you made the blocks using lovely soft colors, you should follow suit with the sashing and borders. The bright colors are beautiful and always are my choices, but for this quilt a quieter selection would work better. Just MHO. 8-)

I like the blue, on second viewing. Brings out the blue in the Bow Tie pattern you used. What a wonderful idea!

Well, I am starting over. I just did not like the blocks - too busy. I have dismantled it and am just piecing the squares together. I will use the plaid from the centers for diamonds as part of a border. With the material I have, I can get 8 diamonds per long side. Will post sometime when I have something to show.
Thanks all for your comments!
