I like the piano key border with a black binding, perhaps?

Think the piano key boarder looks very nice and so does the rest of your quilt.

This one side took me TWO days to put together. It is very time- consuming.

I'm with you I think the piano keys border would be too mcu of a good thing, even with the black strip dividing them. I would choose from a solid color, in the quilt, for the borders. Too many colors competing against each other takes from the beauty of the main quilt. Great job so far

I think that the piano keys take away from the beauty of the quilt. I would go with the plain borders, it seems more calming. You did a wonderful job on the piecing and the colors!

I think the piano key border is too much, takes away from the quilt. Which turned out great by the way.

I'd like it either way! Are you going to bind it in black?...I love string quilts...so colorful! Good way to use up scraps too! :-D
