This is remarkable. No wonder it took you 8 months to complete and he is so pleased. This is probably the largest quilt I have seen, truly a full size spread. The embroidery must have taken a long time, but truly a labor of love.

:cry: same thing happened to me when I gave my son and new bride a memory quilt (that I had worked on for a solid year before they got married) for their wedding. It wasn't the color of his brides 'decor', and I haven't seen it since. I'm hoping she has it in storage for ? :roll: I made the quilt for him; so I did it in masculine colors. Oh well

Looks fantastic....very contemporary. Which goes to prove that those who think quilts are old fashioned are quite wrong! I am sure your son will treasure it always.
