A Top for Christmas
#1
My Auntie gave me a couple of quilting books for Christmas. One of them was Pat Sloan's Fast Forward Quilts. I really like a lot of the patterns in there. Well, I decided to make the one called Under the Sea.....except I used Christmas fabric. I used Moda's Mary Engelbreit's The Caroler. I love that fabric! and solid dark green. Perhaps I should name mine Under the Christmas Tree?! LOL! This is my first time setting squares on point. I am pleased with the results and can't wait to get it quilted!
Thanks for looking!

ooppppsss...one small mistake...do you see it? In the lower right hand square I got the logs going the wrong way. Oh well...it just adds character. I am not bothered by it, so it will stay that way!

I really like this pattern a lot, it would be great for all my scraps. Unfortunatly I can't justify buying a book for one pattern. I know some love books but I wish designers also offered individual patterns I did look at her free patterns her wishing well pattern looks similar.

That is where I found the pattern along with several others.
