Default "Mom, can you teach me?"

My thirty year old dd is here for a week long visit. She was totally impressed
with my quilts and bags. She gave me fabric from a trip to Cambodia. She also brought
back fabric to make baby quilts for her friends. She also had a piece of fabric, that
the ladies in the shelter she worked at. made. She wants a quilt for herself with it. So, we
worked on the baby quilt. Then she cut and laid out hers. Not what I would have done, but
it is her design and she did the cutting.

I like it. Different is better in my opinion. It draws you in.

Wonderful!! I wish my 21 year old would quilt with me, but she has absolutely no interest. It is not for lack of talent, as she is a studio art major, however I think it has something to do with sewing straight lines. lol.

Waht a wonderful way to spend time with your daughter!!!

I wish my daughters would quilt with me. They love quilts, but don't have an interest in making them. Looks like you and your daughter had some fun. Pretty quilts!
