    Looks like everything lined right up, you did a great job! Why not sew strips together and just use up scraps from the quilt for your binding? It would be pretty, you have great colors.

    That looks great!

    I think if you want a subtle border that you don't notice, you should use white to match your squares. Otherwise, do something fun and use strips of your batiks to make a scrappy border. Or if you have a "main" color in your room or your sheets are a certain color then use that to tie the quilt in to your decor.

    This quilt has so many possibilities!

    on a quilt like this that has several fabrics and colors, I sometimes like to take my left-over "scraps" from that quilt and cut them in random lengths, 2 1/2 or 2 3/4 wide and piece them at random to make one strip the required length for the binding. It saves having a separate fabric for the binding and really pulls the whole piece together. It really does look nice, especially if your backing is a solid color or tonal.
