My 90 year old Aunt (she is older than I thought she still looks wonderful and I love her..!!!) gave me a bunch of scraps for a quilt and she wanted a green quilt. Most of the fabric was purple...I was able to find a sale for the green fabric for 4.99 a yard for the borders....I think the green borders make it more green. I hope she like it...I will put it together tomorrow...I hate my back...it was hurting so I am holding off to finish it tomorrow.

You are right, the green border will highlight the green in the quilt. It looks beautiful. She will love it.

Love that combination of colors. It's lady-like and will make her very happy. You did a very good job on that.

I like yellow-greens with purple. My kind of quilt, she's going to love it. If she doesn't, I'll PM you my address. :-)
