    I vote with the rest - "Christmas in July." Give him more time with the quilt. Knowing he is wrapped in all the love you put into the quilt might make him feel even better.

    I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I empathize with what you are going through right now. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

    I love your quilt and know it will give him much comfort.

    That is so nice. I'm sure your dad will treasure it.

    I agree with the posts about giving it to him now. I had been planning one for my dad for Christmas, but he died suddenly in May without ever having a quilt from me.
