    Red face Train Quilt

A few years back, I got this great idea...I'd make my brother a train quilt. Seems simple enough, I began with a panel and some squares I bought on the internet and designed it. I wanted to make sure it was big, so I added extra length and width (cuz I am crazy apparently). Well it ended up being ginormous...what was I thinking. Hours of work to get finished with some FMQ and lots of tying (he wanted it tied like grandma used to do). In the end, he loved it as you can tell by the last couple of photos

Well, it's no wonder he's nuts about it... it's awesome! I love those panels... they're great! You're such a good sister! WTG!!!

It's beautiful, and I can tell - he's not giving it back any time soon.

Fantastic quilt. You did a great job of designing around the panel and printed squares. How very special it is to him and it will be treasured always.
