Default Tribute to Tom Petty

I really liked his music. I was talking to my daughter a couple months ago and she mentioned how she “loved her mama” which reminded me of this song (Free Falling). I think more tribute quilts may be made!

the quilts hangs straight - the door hanger doesn’t hold it taut!

Love your quilt! You can't read the message--you must sing it!

She's a good girl... who's crazy about Elvis.. Loves horses and her boyfriend too... (ooops! sorry I got carried away!)

Your tribute quilt is adorable and I agree - you can't just read the message you must sing it!

I love your tribute quilt - I was stunned when I heard he had passed away. Great musician. I never thought about making this type of quilt, but some day I just might. Us mature people are slowly losing some great musician we all grew up with, plus Leonard Cohan.

Oh, I love this! I can see myself doing a series of quilts of favorite songs - Rocky Mountain High, Take Me Home Country Roads, etc. - thanks for a great idea!
