Trip Around the Flower Garden is finished!

Well, Trip Around the Flower Garden is finished. My sister, Sherri, quilted it for me. She used a Periwinkle panto. She did a great job. I'm really gonna hate to say goodbye to it tomorrow night. My quilt guild makes charity quilts and this will be a donation from me. I'm hoping it will be given to the local women's shelter.

Lovely quilt, and the Quilt Tester seems to have given it a passing grade. It looks like a Trip Around the World with rectangles instead of squares- what is the pattern? Someone will really enjoy it.

Your quilt is fantatic!! I also love your fur-baby's that seem to be guarding it so carefully for you!! Very lovely colors & pattern. It is so springy looking, I wish it were coming to my house. Thank you so much for sharing with all of us here on the Quilting Board.

I also love this beauty you have created. It does look like rectangles and I would also love to have this pattern. I have the perfect floral fabric that I could use. Would you mind sharing with the rest of the board. The quilting is also very nice, great job by both you and your sister and I would love for it to be coming to my house also. Lucky the receipiant who receives this beauty.

I used Eleanor Burns book for Trip Around the World instructions. It is different from the regular pattern. I like this one better, has a bargello look.

Lovely quilt. I love using purple in a quilt and I even have some of the same fabrics you have used. It is going to being a hugh smile to someone's face. Looks like your kitty's approve too.

Isn't this a beauty? I, too, would like to know the name of the pattern. TAW are so versatile! I'd sure hate to have to part with this one. Looks like you might have to wrestle it away from your quilt inspector... LOL!

Beautifully done!!! So many charity quilts lack the beauty and grace you have so lovingly sewn into this one. You have truly "done unto others......"
