    Default "scraps of love"

I made this from scraps left over from previous quilts....it is a history of my past year! It fits over the head of my recliner. It has feather stitch for quilting and the binding.

Love the colors. Good way to use up your scraps.

That is lovely and so scrappy, a great history for you. I am mostly a scrap quilter, even if it is a planned one (like many scraps of red and blue) and so is my mom. When we finish one(mostly she finishes, mine end up as UFOs, we always look at the scraps and say things like "boy, we've used that print in a lot of quilts" and "I'm sorry that it's the last of that one", etc. Since we both use out of the same stash a lot, I can look at mine and see pieces that was in hers. When I haven't seen her for a week or so, I look at the scraps in my quilts, because some of them remind me of her.

I like this--especially the mitered seam joinings--really adds a special touch to the quilt.
