Fascinating to see what people are doing in lovely Spain. I wonder what textile traditions influence them? I know they are good at lace, but where do they get their ideas from otherwise?
    Muy bonitas!

Thank you for sharing. The small folded pieces of fabric, are they prairie points? That is what they look like.

Yes I think so but miniturised the pieces she worked on were about 3/4" square and she folded it and then sewed each piece on individually, must have taken forever to a whole one.

Those are awesome....I really like the 3rd and 4th - sort of Hawaiian looking, but with more detail.

Jo so was I, everytime we walked into another room, we all went, oh wow. In real life they were much more vibrant. The hawaiin quilts were not quilted and I would have liked to have seen them quilted but the workmanship was outstanding.

    Elle,
    these are all so outstanding.
what a lovely variety of styles that are displayed here.
I am so in love with the 3 flower series right after the Russian photos.
Shows so much movement in them and looks like my favorite flower.
Thanks for sharing your trip with us...HUGS
