Thank you all for your kind words. The Irish Chain is my favorite pattern. In this one, the squares represent flowers, and because I wanted to do a boy quilt, these are blue. I'm including the link to the pattern here: http://www.modabakeshop.com/2009/05/...wer-quilt.html

Appears that the recipient of the quilt is a happy camper. Reproductions look so gorgeous with the old patterns. I had never seen this one with the square in the center. Thanks for posting.

1930's reproductions are my absolute favorite fabrics. Many tend to be more pastel and I like how bright this quilt is. Love your use of the blue squares. Actually there isn't one thing that I don't love about this quilt. You are truly an inspiration.
