Oh Karla, it's absolutely gorgeous! And i love the pale floral background, that is so nice. I love irish chains, and hardly ever see a triple one, absolutely exquisite, and all your seams matching so nice! I started a double chain a few days ago, so yours has really inspired me more, good job! :)

both are really beautiful quilts and in my favorite color combo, too. how long did they take to make? the kayaking one really does look like the lake pics you posted a while back. great interpretation.

missbehavinnow--if you search through my posts I know I mentioned the magazine title and issue when I originally posted this quilt... let me know if you can't find it and I'll hunt for it some time this weekend.

Here's the info on the Kayak pattern: The pattern is called "Shadows on the Pond" and it's in McCall's Quilting August 2009.
