    Default Triple Irish Chain

This is the completed quilt that some of you helped me pick fabrics for recently: http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...p-t170894.html. This is for my daughter Megan, who is holding it up. Her university colours are purple and white. The pattern is from http://www.mccallsquilting.com/qb/mc...603/index.html. Can you spot my mistakes?! (Two rogue white squares.) I saw this when I was about 50% of the way through quilting and figured what the hell, it is what it is. I don't know how I missed this, because I laid it on the floor and looked at it several times, and also stared at it for several hours when I pinned it. Can't see the forest for the trees, I guess. Backing and binding are purple flannel; batting is Warm and White. This is the biggest quilt I have ever made. Stitch in the ditch quilted on my Janome 4100QDC; pieced on my 1958 Featherweight, "Verna". Thanks for looking.

nice work. sure your dd love it. had to search for the problem you mentioned. i would have left it too. doesn't detract from the overall product, just adds a little character.

Great quilt and colors. It is refreshing that you left the 2 white squares. It gives it character!
