They are all beautiful! Sisters will love them! I have 5 sisters and am on the 5th sister quilt for her birthday 3/26. I decided to do birthdays because each birthday skips a month. Started 4 years ago and missed some along the way but catching up this year. Last birthday is Dec.

Those beautiful quilts have been "buzzing" around in my head all weekend! You did a fantastic job on all of them and I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite.

Thank you for the nice comments. I hope my sisters like them but I'm going to put their names on the labels, just in case! Don't want them showing up at the thrift store!

My husband's mother, two sisters and a sister-in-law liked to sew together. They made Trip Around the World quilts for all of their children and grandchildren. Our family had 10 of them! So, I think they made 50+. First they started with scraps they had and moved on to remnants in the stores. No piece of fabric was safe in Terre Haute, Indiana from these ladies. They did them in rows in a Quilt-as-you-go method. You, too, have created special memories.
That's a fun story. This is the first time I did so many quilts in one pattern. I was going to make myself one, but I might just wait awhile!

Lucky to have sisters, aren't we, Plee? I appreciate my sisters and I'm the only one who makes quilts--so far, anyway. I thought about giving them for birthdays but didn't want to make the deadlines so soon. I started them in January and the first birthday was late February. I don't sew everyday and I didn't want to be stressed out with early deadlines. I hope to see all my sisters at a get-together in July, so that's the deadline I'm shooting for! I have two sons, so no daughters to make quilts for.
