    Tropical DeNovo

Here's the 2nd quilt my cousin asked for - all of these are her original batiks that she picked out except for the black. This is a wonderful pattern for ease, showcasing prints, and always sews up so pretty. The pattern is a free download - just google DeNovo from Bernatex.

The other quilt from these batiks can be found here - http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...e-t262311.html

    Thanks for looking!

Love the colors, would love to do something like that, so beautiful

    a place where happiness lives
    and memories are sewn.

What a great summer quilt! I would love to hang out under it.

I'm so glad you posted this picture, you did a great job on the quilt, it's one of the patterns I was thinking about for a beginning quilt class. I love the colors you picked.

That is a very pretty quilt! I'd use it to spruce up my outdoor table & serve daquiris with a steel drum band playing in the background & rid myself of this really white winter!

Thanks y'all! I love reading your comments about the 'feelings' it evokes! I can't wait to hear from Kelli when she gets these in the mail!
As to this pattern - yes, it would be great for beginners. This is the 2nd one I've made. I don't use the number of fabrics the printed pattern suggests. The other one is posted somewhere on this forum - just search DeNovo and I think you'll find it.
    Thanks again!

Wonderful quilt... your fabrics are wonderful. I'll have to look up the pattern for future reference. Thank you for posting a photo of your quilt.
