I don't understand why you don't like it - I think it's beautiful. Maybe you just worked too long on it and got tired of it. I think your SIL will like it, border or no border.

Even though I am not a huge purple fan, this is a beautiful quilt. Anyone that likes purple will absolutly love this. My grandmother that recently passed would have went nuts over this quilt. these were her favorite colors.
