That's a beautiful quilt. I love quilts made with little squares of different fabric. It's just lovely :D

Cabinkate, read up a couple of my last messages, I give basic instructions how to make the individual block, it is very simple, made from 4 patches and Half Square Triangles, nothing more!

Go on have a go everyone, it really is a fun quilt to make from scraps!

:D :D :D
Bookmarked and tagged - directions on page 13 - on my computer.

Thanks for helping our new friend out

You can just scroll up from your original post and find it on the same page. I have put a close up picture of a few blocks laid out roughly on the rug to demonstrate the basic block plan :-D :-D :-D

Thanks again everyone, you are amazing me just how much you all have found this quilt interesting, bless you all! :-D :-D :-D

WOW!!!!!!!!! Love the idea of over sized blocks on the back. The back doesn't look scrappy at all, just well planned.

I love it! Did you have a pattern you went by? How did you figure out how many 1 1/2" squares you needed? Could you share more info on how you did it?
