Thank you quilter2theend, This is one quilt that I will never part with, as it was made for my late DH. He chose the layout and enjoyed watching it grow, in fact it was only supposed to be a lap quilt for him, but he requested that I made it a kingsize for when he became bed bound, which I did

Wow thank you Lara and everyone who are continuing to leave comments! I have to admit that it really isn't down to having an eye for colour particularly with this quilt. I just focussed on the contrast between adjacent pieces and making sure I had a good mix in each block! Anyone can do it if you are brave enough, which I found VERY hard in the beginning but by the end found it such fun and liberating to just go with the flow!
