Thread: Tube Table Runner

    I used the tube quilting method to make this table runner....I had no plan when I started, except for the method.

    After making all the triangles I decided I did not like the center pieces so I got rid of them....I also did not intend to make the border turquoise.

    So far I like the result...errors and all. Oh, and my husband chose the pattern of the squares.

    The fabric with the birds was on the sale table at Beverly's for $2.97 a yard. I too think it is a pretty fabric.

    Love your fabric colors! I love the tube method, I am working on another quilt now using that method. Great work :thumbup:

    Since I left myself that big blank spot in the centers I'm going to attempt by first 'pretty' (hopefully) FMQ. Stay tuned!

    Here are photos of the finished product....and a couple of hot pads made with the scraps.

    The scrap hot pads afforded me the opportunity to try free motion quilting....I might do this again!
