Just gave it to my friend. She was at the phone and I displayed it in front of her. She broke out in ahs and ohs and envieed the person that would get it.
Still at the phone with her daughter praising the quilt I showed her the label and it left her speachless................having a very unique name she knew its hers.

More ahs and ohs and OMG and then she wanted to refuse it, she could impossibly take a present like that! I wonder why the most generous people have the most difficulties to take a present!?
Between refusing she made plans where to put it (NO not on the wall!) and finally she thanked with tears in her eyes.

Boy, SHE made MY day

For the blocks I sewed long strips bright/dark/ bright and dark/bright/dark and cut triangles. Four of them together made a block.................I think it is called strip pieced then!?
I not very fluent with all these words and even less with setting a link.
There are many tutorials about that kind of patches maybe somebody else is so kind to tell you. It is very easy to do.

I bought five charm packs and a jelly roll of Nature's Notebook and love the fabric. Gave one charm pack as a door prize at an ASG meeting and plan to make baby quilts with the others. Can't find that pattern anywhere now. Maybe I bought all there was to be had.I think the colors are very soothing and calming, perfect for little ones of either gender.
