The colors are beautiful. You do wonderful work. TFS.

Using a bed cover and just doing toppers is a great idea. I'm always doing large quilts too--don't know why.

It is a Northcott fabric... not sure of the name... but just as they advertise it is a cotton that feels like silk.
HEre's a close up of it.

What a fantastic idea! TFS, and your topper is beautiful! I think the layered look that is created with just the topper is a nice and cozy look. I am definately going to try this route. Thanks!

Great idea to keep your bedroom sparkling with the seasons and not have to do a huge quilt. Good job

What a good idea! I have only done 1 queen size and I swore never again! What size would you do for that?

Great idea! I am new at quilting and am determined to make a full sized quilt for myself and our three grown offspring. BUT, after that I definitely will consider the topper route! Thanks for sharing your wonderful insight.
Your spring topper is so pretty! Just the thing to welcome spring.

my days of making monstrous Queen sized quilts is done. I just can't wrangle them any more!
I like your reasoning on this. Gives me ideas for my own bedroom. Love the topper you've shared. It really stands out on the ivory bed cover.
