I purchased the large die in hopes of getting rid of some fabric. I decided to cut anything less than a FQ into these shapes. It is incredibly fast and fun to cut with this machine.

I used the free pattern that came with the die and this quilt is the result. You trim the odd shaped sides after quilting.

I am going to cut up my 1930's kids FQs and make these into quilt using this die. They will go to the local hospital.

I am not on a total no buy---just not buying to stack on my shelf. It must be for a specific quilt.

What a pretty scrap quilt! I just used my tumbler die to cut out a quilt for my niece last night. It has Brown and pink theme. I love your idea of cutting anything smaller than fq with this die.

It's beautiful. What a great way to use up small pieces of fabric. I like the one under it also.

I just finished cutting all my tumblers on the die...now to start sewing. used 11 different fabrics. I bought fabric with bird houses...and birds, flowers, leaves and branches...can't wait to see how it comes out.

Love your quilt!!! The tumbler is my all-time favorite! I made 3 quilts for Christmas using the tumbler pattern with 1930's repro's. My sister still keeps telling me how much she loves hers. Makes me feel so good.

A question about the die--does it work on the smaller Accu-quilt?

Not sure. I have the GO Cutter. Joanne's Fabric has sales every few weeks for 224.00 - totally work the price. I hasl have a friend that bought one from amazon for the same including the shipping price. The time and rotary blades that you do not have to buy makes the Go worth the money. Joann's has a lot of the dies on sale this week. Here is a smaller tumbler die for the baby go. http://www.joann.com:80/joann/catalog/productdetail.jsp?pageName=search&flag=true&PRODID=zprd_10758720a

what a great idea... I packed up 4 large boxes and donated it to a quilter down south...
So my small scraps are gone.
    Enjoy the Art!
