Tumbling Block wedding present used the tutorial from this board!

I used the tutorial for Tumbling Block available here to make this wedding present. I really love how the blocks tumble no matter how you look at the quilt. I made four coordinating pillowcases too. I started with material from my stash and thought I had enough but didn't! However, I found more online to completed the quilt. I was blessed that day

Yes this is the one I used
    http://www.myquiltfabric.com/pdf/Tumbling_Blocks.pdf

the only modification I made was to turn over 1/2 of the strip sets to make it fit. That wasn't in the directions and I couldn't figure out how to make it work.

Your quilt is great! Craftybear posted a link to a super TB tutorial this week. It is done with straight seams in rows. It makes me actually want to try it. I made a crib quilt with Y seams about 20 years ago and once was more than enough for that method.

    It's gorgeous! Nice job.
Being skinny isn't easy, so I gave up and opted for being sexy instead. (aunty acid)

This quilt did not have the dreaded Y seams, it wasn't hard but alot of sewing and I must be more careful when I press. Thanks for all the lovely comments.

You did a beautiful job on this quilt. I sure like the 3-D effect of the tumbling block pattern. How nice that you were able to find the fabric you needed to finish the quilt. Bet the happy couple will love it.
