    Default Tumbling blocks

Made this for a very dear friend.

Turned out better than I thought it would as there was a lot of bias edges, but once the top was finished I starched it rigid and spray basted. Not too happy with the quilting either the stitches are very uneven. But at least it holds it together.

Well done! That's a tricky pattern with all the Y seams.

Very pretty -- have you washed it yet? You need to get that heavy starch out of the quilt.
Your fiend will feel so special.

Thanks for the kind comments. Gave it to my friend today and she loved it. It blends beautifully with the decor in her living room.

Tartan I cheated and did it in strips had intended to do it with y seams but time was really short.

KSellers, yes I washed it and got all the starch out and a lovely crinkly look to it.
