    Turned in Charity Quilts

These are the 10 completed quilts I turned in today. The local paper was there to take pictures and representatives of two of the charities were also present. I breathed a sigh of relief that these were done, but somehow I came home with 3 more to sandwich and quilt and also have 7 more kits to start [big sigh] LOL

put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.

Very pretty. I give quilts to kids that must be removed from their homes.

the cancer center originally asked for 3'x4'. today, however, they asked for them to be a little larger.

these are for the cancer center. today, we also gave a larger one to habitat for humanity for a family that moved in to their new house this weekend.

You are sharing your love of quilting by giving to others to brighten their day. Do you put a label on your charity quilts?

They are all great. You have a big heart. I love the way you took a simple block design and jazzed it up with an appliqued flower here and there. I am going to try that idea......

Tumblers always look great. I'll bet the patients "compare" quilts while they are having treatments. You've done a great deed.....

Nan, you are very generous with both your time and quilting skills. I'm sure the cancer center appreciates your donations, they all look cozy.

Lovely quilts all of them. I know exactly how you feel about coming home with more to do. My group hands me quilt sandwiches and our annual church "Spring Fling" is fast approaching so my machines and I are in overdrive.

yes, a label for the quilt ministry is put on by group members who like to hand sew.
