I quilted this small hanging to commemorate the launching of my latest mid-grade book, "Yuri's Brush With Magic," which features loggerhead turtles among other things. The turtles come from an Indonesian batik, not North Carolina beaches, but I liked their quirkiness!

Very cool - kind of a coincidence that the ad at the bottom of this page is for a youtube video entitled "Sea Turtles in Streets".

Coincidence?-other things I have been searching (ie little namebrand shoes for GD) ads would show up. I'm not seaching anymore-no ads. The topics or content of a thread will reflect in ads! Start noticing thread content and ad content-hmmmmm........

The panel is from Indonesia... so I can't claim the artwork as mine. Since my book is about the turtles, though, I thought it was just the thing I wanted! The Indonesian batiks are great... such gorgeous colors and, as you have said, movement.
