Twinkie's Scrappy Drunkards Path...quilted by Charisma

Twinkie sent this quilt...BOY is it HUGE and quite the stash/scrap buster!
I had it on the frame all weekend while I took a little hiatus( kind of) and just worked on it here and there. All the people passing by would comment on how great it was....Because it's just an eye catcher..and very easy construction...because she sewed three circles onto a block and then cut the block into four to make the blocks....Then on top of that she cut up squares from her stash and made the back in patchwork style! Tons of work and stash! Perfect!
She requested feathers in the background ...I love it!

Great way to use stash! Great piecing...Thanks Twinkie!

Wow that's a big one all right. It looks beautiful and so nice that it's reversible. I like the 3 circles, they remind me of watermelon wedges. Wonderful quilting job as usual.

Charisma, as usual, you did a great job on this one. It was a real special quilt for a real special granddaughter's wedding present. I couldn't do the quilting myself and now I am glad I couldn't. Thanks so much

Beautiful work as usual Charisma, and gorgeous quilt Twinkie! Lucky Reciepent....never can go wrong with feathers.........
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Diet Dr. Pepper in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

When I originally started this quilt, I posted pictures of it in the thread
    http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t185454.html
This thread had over 200 replies and close to 15,000 views. I told the members at that time that I would post pictures of the quilt when it was quilted. Usually every quilt that Charisma posts after she quilts it appears on the front page of the newsletter. I was disappointed that this one did not make the front page as I am really proud of it and so proud of the quilting that Charisma did. Perhaps I will post a picture of the bride and groom (a special granddaughter) and a picture of when they receive this quilt. I cannot think of any quilt I have done that I am prouder of. Charisma, thank you so much for adding that special miracle of "Charisma" to my special quilt. I was ready to cry when I saw the pictures you sent.

    Twinkie
