It is also called Tradewinds. I believe Clotilde has the pattern.

Thank you so much - I am on my way to order the pattern. I like free better but I sure don't mind purchasing a pattern that I really like and I do love this one. Can someone tell me how much fabric it calls for? I'm going to the quilt shop on Tuesday and I would like to get the fabric while I'm there. Thanks so muc.

I found the pattern on Cozy Quilts and I could print out the back of the pattern that tells me how much fabric I need to purchase. I ordered the pattern but I can go ahead and purchase the material on Tuesday. Thanks for the information on the Tradewinds Quilt.

I added an extra row on mine as the pattern called for a half looking block on the bottom and I didn't like it...sooo...you may want to get extra if you want the full block. Also, I used blueberry 2 and 1/2 inch strips. PM me if you need to know more about the fabric.

I am sorry everyone about the name of the pattern. I have been calling it Twirlwinds since I started making it but the pattern IS called Tradewinds by Cozy Quilt Designs. If I can help you with anything, let me know. Thank you for all the kind words.

Thanks Dee for telling me you added another row, I like that idea. I always buy extra fabric but I will buy a little more than I need. Now I need to decide which size I'm going to make. I like the idea of knowing how much fabric it takes "up to" a King size. That's probably the size I will make. Thanks again for your information - you have been very helpful.

Beautiful quilt. You did a great job.

I bookmarked the free pattern to this quilt awhile ago, because I want to make it someday. I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
